Office Board — Task Board with SMS Notifications

This Privacy Policy describes how the Office Board mobile application (“the App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information. Office Board is an internal workplace task-management tool: accounts are created by your organization's administrator, and the App connects to your organization's own Office Board server.

1. Information We Collect

The App collects and processes only the information needed to provide the task-board service:

Account information — your name, login (username), password, and role (employee, manager, or administrator), created and managed by your organization's administrator.
Phone number — used solely to send you SMS notifications about task activity, if you enable them.
Work content — boards, task cards, descriptions, priorities, due dates, checklists, labels, comments (including @mentions), and file attachments (up to 15 MB per file) that you or your colleagues create.
Activity records — task history and an action log (who created, moved, edited, or archived tasks), and an SMS delivery log, available to administrators for operational oversight.

The App does not collect your location, contacts, photos (beyond files you explicitly attach), advertising identifiers, or any analytics/tracking data. It contains no advertising and no third-party analytics SDKs.

2. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and maintain your session.
To display and synchronize boards, tasks, comments, and files within your organization.
To send SMS notifications about task events (assignments, deadlines, reminders, digests) to the phone number in your profile, when notifications are enabled.
To maintain audit and SMS logs so administrators can oversee the workspace.

Your information is never used for advertising, profiling, or sold to third parties.

3. SMS Notifications and Third Parties

SMS notifications are delivered through Eskiz.uz, an SMS gateway service. When an SMS is sent, your phone number and the notification text (which may include task titles) are transmitted to Eskiz.uz for delivery. Eskiz.uz processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can disable SMS notifications at any time in your profile settings; administrators may also configure quiet hours during which no messages are sent.

No other third parties receive your personal data.

4. Data Storage and Security

All work data is stored on your organization's Office Board server, controlled by your organization — not by the App developer.
Authentication tokens are stored on your device in the platform's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore-backed encrypted storage).
Communication with the server uses authenticated requests; sessions are invalidated when your access is revoked or your password is reset.
Theme and display preferences are stored locally on your device only.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your organization operates its Office Board workspace and your account remains active. Boards and tasks may be archived rather than deleted as part of normal workflow. When your administrator removes your account or revokes your access, you can no longer be assigned tasks or receive notifications; removal of historical records is governed by your organization's internal policies.

6. Your Rights and Choices

SMS notifications — enable or disable them at any time in your profile.
Phone number — update or remove it in your profile settings.
Password — change it at any time from your profile.
Access, correction, deletion — since accounts are managed by your organization, contact your workspace administrator to view, correct, or delete your personal data.

7. Children's Privacy

Office Board is a workplace tool intended for use by employees of an organization. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
